Dear Isabel,

This note of gratitude is completely overdue. I want to thank you and Larry for the incredible job you did shooting our wedding.

We are so pleased with the prints. We thought they truly captured the spirit of the day! It was important to have a chronicle of the day and to embody the energy, joy and excitement that Sean and I felt. I think you have done just that with the shots. The album is a beautiful story of our day and somehow you captured all the wonderful characteristics of people and the interchanges I know will never happen again. We have prints, matted, framed and hung in our house that are not wedding photos, they are beautiful images, they’re not posed with elaborate stagings, they’re moments captured.

The Wedding Album is something I didn’t want to have sitting in a box somewhere, twenty years from now that portrayed dated coiffures and embarrassing styles. To me, our collection of wedding photos is not even a wedding album, it’s an elegant photographic archive of an event that happens to be of Sean’s and my wedding. That’s exactly what we wanted to have: something timeless.

I received so many comments from my family and guests regarding your understated presence during the entire day of the wedding and then as we reviewed the proofs, no one could fathom how you two were in so many places at one time without being noticed!
