Last year my wife and I were blessed with the conception and subsequent delivery of our first child. The anticipation of the birth and preparation for our future family kept my wife and I extremely busy on a daily basis. What a relief it was to have Larry of Isabel Lawrence present to photograph the birth of our daughter. Knowing that a true professional talent would be documenting the birth was such a relief.

My wife and I were able to bond and deeply connect, uninterrupted during the entire birth, instead of worrying about taking photographs. We had considered asking a friend or family member to document the birth but that seemed to be a little outside of our comfort level. As a future Father, the last thing I wanted to be doing during the birth was worrying about getting the right shot or asking my wife to hold a pose. Fortunately Larry was available and more than willing to drive a good distance in the middle of the night to document the delivery. In the hospital my wife and I were free to move about the delivery room and even take a walk if needed.  

We shared an amazing experience together that was unspoiled by worry or outside interruption. Larry stayed with us during the entire labor and delivery, never once making his presence known.  He adjusted his equipment and artistic eye to whatever we were doing at the time. Without Larry’s photography skills our pictures would never have shown the true emotion that Isabel-Lawrence was able to capture that day. To this day my wife and I can sit down with our birth photos and recapture the emotion and connection that we shared that amazing evening.
